Troublesome’s 2nd Annual “Spirit of Giving” Christmas Toy Drive Taking Shape

22489025d397701ea950f38f378e70d1

Troublesome’s “Spirit of Giving” Christmas Shoebox event is in its second year and we are pleased to be partnered with FOX 12 Oregon and My Fathers’ House Shelter in Gresham, Ore. Last year with the help from volunteers, Troublesome was able to help over 64 local children with Christmas. This year we have upped our goal to reach over 100 children!

How does it work? Volunteers decide on a child (boy or girl) and age group (0-1yr, 2-4 yrs, 5-9yrs or 10+) then fill a shoebox with toys, hygiene products, clothes, art supplies, ect.  Donations are then dropped off at one of three public locations:

Mt. Hood Community College Library – 26000 SE Stark ST. Gresham, OR 97030
Umpqua Bank, Portland-Rockwood location – 10 NE 181st Ave. Portland, OR 97230
Studio 1512 – 1512 NE 172nd Portland, OR 97230

Cash and toy donations are also gladly accepted and will be used to fill more boxes.  If interested in volunteering in wrapping, delivery, or food, please contact us at info@troublesomemovement.com or (503) 660-8354. Tax-deductible donations can be made at: http://www.troublesomemovement.com/donate-now/
